Meet Linda and Charlton – a sweet couple up for anything!  Even tracking this muddy field in their nice clothes (BTW, thanks guys)!  The light couldn’t be more gorgeous and paired with Linda’s baby pink sweater, I’m over here having a photographer panic attack from pure happiness!   Oh, the things that make me happy =)  It doesn’t take much!  And thank you L&C for the sweet gift after our session!  We LOVED the macaroons!  They were gone in about 10 minutes!  We’re excited and honored to photograph your June wedding – less than 4 months to go!

Cam, Lindsey and Coop were a complete joy to work with!  We had a fabulous session that just so happend to be on the MOST glorious day of the year – completely sunny and a high of 65.  Thank you LORD!  It made for some stunning light in their pictures!  We started the session in full on sun but later on we were able to take advantage of the warm and gooey sunset light. (scroll down to see!)  Just beautiful!  We hope you two enjoy!  We’re SO looking forward to your big day in July!

I’ve been looking forward to finally sharing these with you all!  Kaitlin and Ryan were so patient with THREE shoot reschedules because of the dreary and unpredictable weather in late December.  THREE!  I was feeling terrible.  Thank you both so much!  Hopefully you feel that your patience has paid off.  You certainly came prepared and gave me lots of great expressions and sweet moments to sort through.  We’re looking forward to your wedding this summer in Dallas!

Kaitlin – I must say that you’ve got GREAT hair.  I’m Jealous!

LOTS to share here!  This couple shares a passion for music and are both involved in their church’s worship band.  Jeremy and I really enjoyed listening to their beautiful playing throughout the session!  Lisa said the piano was way outta tune but whadda we know?  It sounded good to us!  AND, truth be told that on their first date, Josh was teaching Lisa how to longboard down a steep hill and well, she ended up breaking her arm.  Oh the romance!  I’m sure Lisa’s dad was easily approving of Josh after that!  This funny story made Lisa and Josh want to incorporate Josh’s longboard which we only let Josh ride for liability purposes ; )  Well, there’s a happy ending here and now they are set to be married in June of this year!  We can’t wait!  Enjoy, everyone!

Remember this contest that we offered all of our 2012 wedding clients that booked with us before 12/31?  Well, basically it was a social media contest where we asked our couples to share JCP with all of their friends and family and get as many people as they could to interact with us via our Facebook Fanpage, our blog and Twitter.  Which ever couple had the most interactions won and will get their wedding photographed by us absolutely FREE!  Well, it’s been a crazy 5 months watching our social media outlets grow and expand with new fans and interactions!  It was a seriously tight race between first and second place but we’re glad to announce that with 20,582 points the winners are……

So, what exactly does this mean for them?!  They will be refunded their initial deposit of $1000 that confirmed their wedding date on our schedule AND they will not have to pay the remaining balance of the wedding coverage portion of the collection that they booked!  All in all, they will have their wedding photographed for FREE!  Everyone loves free!  Congratulations you guys, we know how much time and effort you put into the contest and we are forever grateful!  Enjoy the savings!

What a great, fun and stylish couple! I’ve enjoyed my time spent with Nicole chatting about every aspect of this session like these perfect outfits and these awesome spots in the Rice University area of Houston. Isn’t this copper looking wall the coolest looking thing ever? We found it across the street from Hotel ZaZa where Ben actually proposed to Nicole. It’s been pretty cloudy here lately (it’s winter, after all) but we managed to pick the perfect day with the most beautiful sunset light. Thank you LORD! Just gorgeous! We took over Rice stadium to incorporate Ben and Nicole’s alma mater AND incorporate Nicole’s new last name. Such a great idea, Nicole! N+B, we’re looking forward to your October wedding at the Bell Tower…if you look half as beautiful as these, I know it will be gorgeous! Enjoy, you two!

We’ll update next after we return from our vacation to SAN FRANCISCO! The trip was a surprise Christmas gift to hubby…he was totally confused when I told him. It was great! I booked everything myself…go me! We’ll be sure to take plenty of pictures and make a post of it all soon!

Well, I’m sick in bed with a terrible cold and sore throat so there’s no Tip-sy Tuesday today but my sweet husband, Jeremy, has finished his latest session video and wanted to share!  We’ll be out of town for the holidays until December 29th so there won’t be any Tip-sy Tuesday next week either but keep an eye out for the next one on January 3rd!  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!  Enjoy this time with your family!
